Send a test ping
One click proves the whole screening path before real traffic does.
What the button does
The test-ping button on the dashboard fires a real lookup with your active key, exactly the request a tracker sends to your lookup URL. Nothing about it is simulated: it authenticates, scores, and logs like production traffic.
- Home → Send test ping. Enter a phone number or use the prefilled one.
- The verdict appears in recent pings within a moment: masked number, line type, allow or block, and whether it hit the cache.
- Send the same number twice and the second ping answers from the one-day cache: instant, and no extra Twilio lookup.
Before Twilio is connected
On bring your own integration with no credentials connected yet, the test ping still answers: the verdict is allow with a fail-open comment. That is the design working as intended; a check that cannot run never blocks a caller. Connect Twilio and send another ping to see a scored verdict.
